Hannah Ruth Chalmers

A sensual, witty and naughty one woman show: STRIPPED

This play is entirely based on the life of Hannah, who, much like the Happy Hooker herself has spent quite some time in the world of strippers, dancers and sex workers and not only lived that life but also wrote an excellent one hour play about it. Who else could play the role of this stripper better than the woman who lived and loved it herself?

Hannah has won many awards at last year’s Edinburgh Theater festival for her outstanding performance and she is now working on a TV series based on her play. She lives in London and is happy to visit Croatia for the very first time in her life.

Reviews

"Armed with an impressive array of note perfect accents, Chalmers certainly milks us dry of laughter and tears ... STRIPPED is an acting tour H de H force for Chalmers, who ricochets at dizzying speed between different vocal intonations and mannerisms." **** The Metro

“A kaleidoscope of absorbing characters are created by one actor in this play... It is easy to believe in all of these, and Hannah Chalmers moves seamlessly back and forth between them. This is an exquisite display of virtuoso acting...an excellent show which I would highly recommend." **** Broadway Baby

"Chalmers is cute, funny, smart and fun to watch, and her expose of the lapHdancing racket makes more sense and rings truer than 1000 speeches from 1000 politicians ... an entertaining and thoughtHprovoking piece of theatre." **** The Scotsman, 'best of the fest'
