Rado1 Jenko-
Radovan Jenko studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and graduated from poster art under professor Henryk Tomaszewski and from painting under professor Teresa Pagowska.
He currently lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The Ljubljana based design studio is specialised in graphic design and illustration. Its history is a close relationship with the community, culturally and art wise. Studio’s works are widely published and exhibited around the world.
In 1991 Jenko began his practice as a professor at the University of Ljubljana, Academy of Fine Arts and Design where he shares his knowledge and experiences in design and illustration with young generations. His personal work and collaboration with students is based on their sensibility translated to visual language.
Among Jenko’s most distinguish awards are Slovene National Award, Silver Medal of Art Directors Club New York, 1st Award at 6th Triennial of Eco Poster, “4th Block”, Kharkov, Ukraine, Four Brumen Award at 2nd 3rd and 4th biennale of Slovene Visual Communications, Ljubljana, Special Jury Award at Taiwan International Poster Design.
